Cowboy/Singer/Songwriter, Pat Meade is heading up a herd of
musicians for the Annual South East Warren Scholarship Fundraiser.

Me (Beth), Paul Treanor, Annie Brock, Pat Meade and a band called Cowboy Country will be performing on November 9 in Liberty Center at 7 p.m.  The local lfolks will be cooking up some good supper, and will start serving at 5:30

Pat Meade and Young Country will be performing for a taping of RFD-TV on October 14. Congrats to all!

Young Countryis a weekly, country music show produced weekly in Laredo, MO. Johnny and Carolyn Vincent perform there as often as they can.

November 16 I will be back at Annie's Country Music Jubilee.
I was there September  21 and had the privelege of meeting and hearing Sarah Getto. Double WOW. She is a wonderful musician and a great person.

Annie has a new tune that she has added to her repretoire called "Sweet Memories". It is writen by Willie Nelson. Annie's delivery is spell-binding. You can hear Willie perform it on You-Tube

Annie's show is on the grow. Love being with them. In fact, I'll be there December 15, and also there for the New Year's Eve show. Fourth year in a row. Thanks Annie and ACJ Family.

My friend Pammie, alias Storm, called yesteerday. She was on her way to Nashville to record a demo of a song she recently wrote called, "I Need An Angel".

She was flying down the road and a local radio station in who-knows-where was giving away backstage ticekts to meet LeAnne Rimes and another new artist. Storm WON. She turned around and drove back 50 miles to pick up her tickets. She's taking her producer/publisher with her tonight (Oct 9).

Meanwhile, I entered on of my originals in the
 CMT/NSAI 8th Annual Songwriters Contest.

If my cut makes the top 15 you'll get a chance to go the CMT site, listen and vote!! The song is "Speed of Love". I recorded it last year with producer Tom Robinson at DigiStudio.

I'm attending the Steve Seskin Songwriters Workshop in Des Moines at the Thoreau Center on October 20. Steve is a member of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International). You usually would have to travel to Nashville for a presentation like this. There are still seats available. Contact Mary McAdams

Bill Melton is just returning from Nashville. He went to the NSAI Annual Songposium. It is a week-long event for songwriters, complete with what they tout as the World's #1 Party. Bill is excited about the experiences and knowledge that he gained from this week-long event! He had one of his songs critiqued, and he felt good about it! Keep Writin' Bill

The second weekend in December is the date for the Iowa State Fair Showcase Convention at the Holiday Inn on Fleur Drive.  Call your agent to get in!!

Annie's Country Jubilee in beautiful, tropical, downtown Tonganoxie, Kansas--Annie and Terry Dunavie produce a show every Saturday night. Showtime is 7 p.m. Beth Hunter will be perfomring at Annie's the third Saturday in March, May, July, September this year. Make reservations to stay in Lawrence, Kansas City, or maybe attend the Renissance Festival in Bonner Springswhile you are in the neighborhood. Annie and Terry line up fine entertainment, coupled with a superb house band.

The Harvest Band We Love Ya Baby! This long-standing, hot rocking, country croonin', classic band are a treat. They entertain, they party, and the euphoria trickles down! Featuring brothers, Tom and Jimmy Sticks Robinson and Mark The Bassman Bailey, they stand alone, or you might find them with Beth Hunter as a guest now and then.

Home Grown Tomatoes Enjoy the taste of fresh Americana music as these Iowa musicians bring delight and laughter to the table. You can usually catch them at the downtown Des Moines Farmer's Market. Just how far with a Home Grown Tomato go? Visit their site and find out.

MOKAN Opry The place to find a live country show in the midwest. Jean and Roger Hawkins are the experts. They travel, taste and get their share of country music ear candy. If there were a Midwest Opry Excellence Award for show promotional websites, they'd win. SALUTE!
